Year 5 Primary Teacher – Harborne

Location: Harborne, Birmingham

Hours: full-time, 8:30am – 4:30pm

Salary: DOE, M1 – M5 bands

 

Job description

Are you looking for a KS2 Teaching role? We are working with a passionate and vibrant Primary school in Harborne to join their fantastic team of education staff. The school are looking for a passionate and dedicated KS2 teacher to take on an amazing opportunity available. Early Career Teacher’s (ECT’s) are welcome to apply.

Requirements:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or have recent experience of teaching in a Primary setting.
  • Available 8.30PM-4.30PM Mon-Fri
  • Must have strong subject knowledge.
  • Support students and manage behaviour effectively.
  • Experience working with mildly SEN students.

 

Duties:

  • To liaise and communicate with colleagues to ensure that lessons are appropriately planned and delivered.
  • Plan and deliver lessons to meet the needs of all pupils through differentiation.
  • Plan for and communicate effectively with teaching assistants.
  • Feedback effectively and in a timely fashion to class teachers.
  • To maintain the highest standards of behaviour within a class and around the school.
  • Participate in staff and team meetings and on-going professional development opportunities.
  • Participate in the performance management system for their own appraisal.
