Teaching Assistant – SEN (1:1 Support)

Pay: £90–£105 per day
Type: Ongoing

Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant with a background in SEN schools? We are looking for a dedicated professional to provide 1:1 support to students with complex needs, including autism, non-verbal communication, sensory needs, and behavioural challenges in a specialist setting in Staffordshire

Your Role

  • Work 1:1 with students requiring intensive support.

  • Assist with academic, social, and sensory activities tailored to each pupil’s needs.

  • Support behaviour management and promote positive learning experiences.

  • Collaborate closely with teachers and SEN staff to ensure pupils reach their full potential.

Requirements

  • Experience working in a specialist SEN school.

  • Ability to support students with complex autism, sensory needs, non-verbal communication, and behavioural challenges.

  • Patience, resilience, and a flexible approach.

  • DBS – Registered onto the update service  or willing to undergo a new check
