Balfor Recruitment is working in partnership with a welcoming and well-resourced secondary school in the Castle Bromwich area to recruit a permanent Teacher of Science to join their dynamic faculty from September 2025.

This is a fantastic opportunity for both experienced teachers and ECTs to thrive in a supportive environment that values academic excellence and holistic development.

šŸ”Ž About the Role:

  • Teach across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics specialism welcomed)

  • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging science lessons in line with the national curriculum

  • Inspire curiosity and enthusiasm for science in students of all abilities

  • Work collaboratively within a well-established Science department

  • Take part in wider school life including enrichment and CPD

āœ… Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)

  • Strong subject knowledge in at least one core science

  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills

  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
