Hours: 8:30am – 4:30pm (3 days per week)
Pay: MPS/UPS – To Scale

We are currently seeking a passionate and adaptable SEN Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive specialist school in the Marple area of Stockport. This role is to start immediately and offers a great opportunity to make a difference in the lives of pupils with a range of special educational needs.

The Role:

  • Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons to students with varying needs (Primary age).

  • Provide cover for staff absences and be flexible to move between classes as needed.

  • Support a nurturing and structured environment focused on pupil progress and wellbeing.

  • Collaborate with the wider school team to tailor learning plans and behavioural strategies.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.

  • Experience working with pupils with SEN (e.g., ASD, SEMH, MLD).

  • A flexible and proactive approach to teaching.

  • Strong classroom management and differentiation skills.

  • Able to commit to 3 days per week with potential for ongoing work.
