About Us

We are looking for full-time committed teachers to provide a nurturing and inclusive educational environment for all students, especially those with Special Educational Needs (SEND). The trust has a range of different schools that could provide some fantastic opportunities for ECT’s and experienced teachers.

The schools are a mix of settings, both primary and secondary covering a range of different needs including ASD, SLD, Complex needs and behaviour (SEMH) classes. All the special schools are located across Birmingham including, Stechford, Hall Green, Castle Vale, Sparkbrook and Kings Norton.

Job Description

As a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, individualised education to students with a range of special educational needs. You will work closely with the teaching assistants, and other staff to create and implement effective teaching strategies and support plans.

Key Responsibilities:

· Plan, prepare, and deliver tailored lessons to meet the individual needs of students with SEN.

· Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for students, in collaboration with the SENCO and other staff.

· Provide guidance and support to teaching assistants and other classroom staff.

· Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

Requirements:

· QTS (Qualified teacher status) or equivalent

· SEN school-based experience

· The last 2 years covered references

· Valid Photo ID – Driving Licence or passport

· Full DBS – on the update service (We can provide one for you)
