Primary Teacher – KS1/KS2 

Location: Tamworth 
Hours: 8:00am – 16:00pm
Positions: Short-term and Long-term opportunities available

About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary Teacher with experience teaching KS1 and KS2 to join a supportive school in Tamworth . This is an excellent opportunity for a Primary Teacher looking for either short-term or long-term positions, allowing you to make a real difference in children’s learning and development.

As a Primary Teacher, you will deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across KS1 and KS2, support pupil progress, and contribute positively to the wider school environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons across KS1 and KS2

  • Assess, mark, and provide constructive feedback to support student progress

  • Maintain excellent classroom management in line with school policies

  • Promote positive behaviour and effective learning

  • Contribute to planning and staff meetings as required

  • Support the safeguarding, wellbeing, and academic growth of all students

Requirements – Primary Teacher

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification

  • Experience teaching confidently across KS1 and KS2

  • Strong classroom management and communication skills

  • Commitment to high standards of teaching and learning

  • Flexibility to work in short-term or long-term roles as a Primary Teacher

Safeguarding & Compliance

  • This Primary Teacher role is subject to an enhanced DBS check

  • Two references covering a minimum of two years are required
