Makaton Support Assistant
Location: Solihull
Duration: Full time, on-going
Salary: £85 – £95 per day

An amazing special needs school in Solihull are currently looking for a fulltime Makaton support assistant to work within one of their many classes.

This will include supporting teachers with material preparation for lessons, assisting with displays and providing direct 1 on 1 or small group student support. PECS and Makaton training or experience would be necessary for the teaching assistant role. This is a full-time post and will run until the end of the academic year.

Requirements:
- Qualified Teaching Assistant OR Relevant background
- Experience in SEN
- Immediately available
- Level 1 safeguarding certificate
- Relevant school based references
- Valid Photo ID – Driving Licence or passport
- Full DBS – on the update service
