Full-Time KS1 Primary Teacher

Salary: Minimum £162+ per day, Competitive (DOE)
About the School and Role
We are partnering with a dedicated and collaborative primary school in Great Barr, Birmingham seeking a passionate KS1 Primary Teacher to join their outstanding team. As a successful candidate, you will work closely with an experienced KS1 Leader and be part of a talented staff team, including support from teaching assistants. The school prides itself on providing a nurturing atmosphere focused on delivering high-quality education to all pupils.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging lessons that meet the diverse needs of all pupils.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent, high-quality instruction across the school.
- Differentiate lessons to cater to the varied learning needs within the classroom.
- Communicate effectively with teaching assistants to enhance classroom learning experiences.
- Provide timely feedback to students and maintain accurate records of their progress.
- Uphold high standards of behaviour within the classroom and throughout the school community.
- Participate in staff meetings, team meetings, and ongoing professional development opportunities.
Requirements
- PGCE/Masters/BA Hons in Primary Education and/or Teaching.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recent experience in a primary teaching role.
- Availability from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday.
- Strong subject knowledge, particularly within the KS1 National Curriculum.
- Ability to support and manage students effectively, including those with mild Special Educational Needs (SEN).
- Experience and/or training in teaching Systematic Synthetic Phonics is highly desirable.
