Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) – Burton-On-Trent

 

Location: Burton-On-Trent

Duration: Full time, on-going

Salary: £75-90 per day

 

The School/role:

We are working with an Ofsted rated “Good” school in the Burton-On-Trent area, who are looking for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA). As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) you will be responsible for challenging children who are working above age-related expectations within the class, to provide support for children with a range of educational needs and on occasions support the teaching and learning of a whole class/large groups.

We are looking for a dedicated and creative Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to support students in class and in interventions. The ideal candidate for this role will have experience supporting students either 1:1 or within small groups with their reading, writing or maths dependent upon situation. The ideal candidate for this role would have experience or qualifications working with SEN children, this is preferable but not required.

 

Requirements:

  • Qualified Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) OR Relevant background
  • Level 1, or higher, safeguarding certificate – Training can be arranged for you
  • Relevant based references
  • Valid Photo ID – Driving Licence or passport
  • Enhanced DBS – on the update service – this can be processed for you
