Your Role: As a Food Technology Teacher, you will inspire students to explore the fascinating world of food, nutrition, and culinary arts. Your creativity and expertise will empower students to develop practical skills, experiment with ingredients, and understand the science behind food preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver engaging and interactive lessons that cover a range of topics in food technology, including cooking techniques, nutrition, and food safety.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel encouraged to explore their creativity and develop their culinary skills.
- Provide hands-on demonstrations and practical sessions, guiding students through recipes and cooking processes.
- Incorporate elements of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) into food technology lessons to enrich students’ learning experiences.
- Assess students’ progress through practical assessments, written assignments, and presentations, providing constructive feedback to support their development.

Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a specialization in Food Technology or related subject area.
- Degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Culinary Arts, or a related field.
- Experience teaching Food Technology or a related subject at the secondary level.
- Passion for food and cooking, with a strong commitment to promoting healthy eating and sustainable food practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students of all abilities.
