Pay: From £170 + per day  (dependent on experience)

Are you an inspiring English Teacher who is passionate about helping young people excel in language and literature? We are seeking a dedicated English Teacher to join a supportive and forward-thinking secondary school in the Rochdale area.

About the Role

This exciting opportunity is ideal for an experienced English Teacher or a motivated early career teacher looking to make a real impact. You will deliver high-quality English lessons across KS3 and KS4 and work within a collaborative and well-resourced English department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging English lessons tailored to KS3 and KS4 learners.

  • Monitor, assess, and track student progress to support strong academic outcomes.

  • Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.

  • Maintain effective behaviour management strategies.

  • Collaborate with the English department and wider school team to enrich the curriculum.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential for this English Teacher role

  • Strong subject knowledge and passion for English

  • Experience teaching in a UK secondary school

  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills

  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing
