Business Teacher – BTEC Specialist
Location: Westbury, Wiltshire
Contract Type: Full-time, Fixed-term (until 25th October)

Job Description:
A well-regarded secondary school in Westbury, Wiltshire is seeking an experienced and passionate Business Teacher to provide cover until the 25th of October. The role involves teaching BTEC Business to students in Years 10 to 13. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge and experience in delivering the BTEC curriculum and be able to engage and inspire students at both Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in Business Studies, with a particular focus on BTEC coursework and assessments.
- Support and guide students from Years 10 to 13, ensuring they are well-prepared for both internal and external assessments.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Maintain high standards of classroom management and student engagement.
- Liaise with colleagues and department heads to ensure continuity in teaching and learning.
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students, fostering an inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Business Studies, with a particular focus on the BTEC syllabus.
- Strong subject knowledge and an ability to effectively teach students across Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Available to teach full-time until the 25th of October.
