After School Club Assistant

We’re looking for a caring and enthusiastic individual to join our vibrant After School Club, providing a safe and engaging environment for children at the end of their school day.

Location: Moseley
Contract: Casual, Term Time Only
Hours: 3:00pm – 6:00pm
Pay: From £12.21 per hour

Your Role Will Include:

  • Supervising and engaging children in fun, age-appropriate activities

  • Supporting snack time and maintaining a safe, welcoming space

  • Encouraging positive behaviour and social interaction

  • Working closely with colleagues and parents to support children’s wellbeing

We’re Looking For Someone Who Is:

  • Friendly, reliable, and passionate about working with children

  • Able to work independently and as part of a team

  • Experienced in childcare, or willing to learn

  • Committed to safeguarding and inclusive practice

Requirements

  • Experience supporting children and young people within  a UK school setting
  • Must have the right to work in the UK
  • Willingness and ability to provide personal care, including toileting when required
  • An enhanced DBS certificate registered on the Update Service
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Ability to use your own initiative and adapt to the individual needs of students
  • A clear commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
