Balfor Recruitment is working with a welcoming and supportive primary school seeking an enthusiastic Qualified Teacher (QTS) to join their team from September 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a caring school community where children are encouraged to thrive academically, socially and emotionally.
The school is expanding its teaching team to provide smaller teaching groups across core subjects, giving pupils the opportunity to receive more personalised learning and support.

The Role
As a Primary Teacher, you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons across the primary curriculum.
- Inspire pupils to develop confidence and achieve their full potential.
- Deliver high-quality teaching in reading, writing and mathematics.
- Adapt lessons to meet the needs of all learners, including pupils with SEND.
- Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
- Monitor pupil progress and provide effective assessment and feedback.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and support staff to ensure positive outcomes for every child.
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Be passionate about delivering high-quality primary education.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
- Have experience supporting children with a range of learning needs, including SEND.
- Be adaptable, enthusiastic and committed to helping every child succeed.
- Demonstrate excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Bring creativity, positivity and a genuine love of teaching.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Minimum of 6 months’ UK teaching experience within the last two years.
- Experience planning and delivering engaging lessons.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
- Recent school-based references.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
