Are you a caring, patient, and enthusiastic individual with a passion for supporting children with additional learning needs?

We are looking for dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to provide 1:1 and small group support for learners aged 5–16 who may have needs such as ADHD, Autism (ASD), SEMH, Dyslexia, or General Learning Difficulties.

We have a range of opportunities available across inclusive and welcoming schools in Atherstone (CV9) and nearby areas.


The Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support pupils 1:1 or in small groups

  • Deliver tailored interventions and assist with achieving EHCP targets

  • Create a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment

  • Work closely with Teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals

  • Encourage emotional regulation, resilience, and independence through a trauma-informed approach


About You

We are seeking individuals who are:

  • Experienced in supporting children with SEN (education or care background)

  • Calm, patient, and adaptable, with a passion for helping children thrive

  • Strong communicators and excellent team players

  • Familiar with PECS, Makaton, or visual timetables (advantageous but not essential)

  • Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
