Balfor Recruitment is seeking a motivated Teacher of ICT to join a forward-thinking and well-equipped secondary school in the Selly Oak area. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity beginning in September 2025, ideal for an experienced ICT teacher or an ECT with a passion for technology and education.
π About the Role:

Deliver high-quality ICT lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4

Teach a range of topics such as digital literacy, computing, cybersecurity, and programming

Inspire students to develop their technical skills and digital awareness

Support and contribute to the schoolβs growing computing curriculum

Work collaboratively with the wider STEM faculty
β Requirements:
-
UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
-
Recent experience teaching ICT/Computing in a UK secondary school
-
Strong knowledge of the national computing curriculum
-
Excellent communication, planning, and behaviour management skills

Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
