Are you an innovative and inspiring ICT teacher ready to empower the next generation of digital learners?
Balfor Recruitment is seeking a motivated Teacher of ICT to join a forward-thinking and well-equipped secondary school in the Selly Oak area. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity beginning in September 2025, ideal for an experienced ICT teacher or an ECT with a passion for technology and education.

🔎 About the Role:

  • Deliver high-quality ICT lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4

  • Teach a range of topics such as digital literacy, computing, cybersecurity, and programming

  • Inspire students to develop their technical skills and digital awareness

  • Support and contribute to the school’s growing computing curriculum

  • Work collaboratively with the wider STEM faculty

✅ Requirements:

  • UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Recent experience teaching ICT/Computing in a UK secondary school

  • Strong knowledge of the national computing curriculum

  • Excellent communication, planning, and behaviour management skills

  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
