Are you an enthusiastic and committed Science teacher looking to inspire the next generation of scientists?
Balfor Recruitment is working in partnership with a welcoming and well-resourced secondary school in the Castle Bromwich area to recruit a permanent Teacher of Science to join their dynamic faculty from September 2025.
This is a fantastic opportunity for both experienced teachers and ECTs to thrive in a supportive environment that values academic excellence and holistic development.
š About the Role:

Teach across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics specialism welcomed)

Plan, deliver, and assess engaging science lessons in line with the national curriculum

Inspire curiosity and enthusiasm for science in students of all abilities
-
Work collaboratively within a well-established Science department
-
Take part in wider school life including enrichment and CPD
ā Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
-
Experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)

Strong subject knowledge in at least one core science

Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills

Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
