Balfour Recruitment is working with a creative and well-resourced secondary school in Birmingham to recruit a qualified and enthusiastic Design & Technology (Product Design) Teacher for a full-time, permanent role with an immediate start.

This is a brilliant opportunity to join a school with a strong focus on innovation, practical learning, and student creativity.


🔍 About the Role:

  • 🧰 Teaching Product Design at Key Stages 3 and 4

  • 🖌️ Delivering engaging, hands-on lessons with both theory and practical components

  • 🏗️ Supporting students to develop design skills and technical understanding

  • ⚙️ Using tools, machinery, and CAD/CAM software confidently and safely

  • 📊 Monitoring progress and inspiring creativity and innovation


✅ We’re Looking For:

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)

  • Specialism in Product Design or a relevant D&T subject

  • Strong practical and technical teaching experience

  • A passion for D&T and student achievement

  • A commitment to high standards and safeguarding
