A school in Sparkbrook is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Science Technician to join its dedicated science department. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a passion for science, particularly physics, to play a vital role in supporting teaching and learning in a well-respected Islamic secondary school.

🌟 Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, set up, and maintain physics equipment and materials for practical lessons.

  • Ensure the safe storage and disposal of chemicals and apparatus.

  • Support teaching staff during practical science classes.

  • Maintain laboratory safety standards in line with health and safety regulations.

  • Assist in stock control and the ordering of new equipment and supplies.

🧪 The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Previous experience working as a science technician, ideally in a school environment.

  • Strong knowledge of physics equipment and practical experiments.

  • A proactive and organised approach to work.

  • Awareness of health and safety in a lab environment.
