Key Stage 2 Teacher
Location: Birmingham
Position: Full-time, ongoing
Salary: £160 – £240 per day
About the Role:
An inclusive and welcoming primary school in Birmingham is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Key Stage 2 Teacher to join their team on a full-time, ongoing basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching a Key Stage 2 class, delivering engaging and well-planned lessons that inspire pupils and help them achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver creative and effective lessons in line with the national curriculum
- Foster a positive, supportive, and stimulating learning environment
- Manage classroom behaviour confidently and positively
- Track and assess pupil progress, providing regular feedback to pupils and parents
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan and coordinate across the year group
- Contribute to the wider school community and school events
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- Have recent experience teaching in a Key Stage 2 classroom
- Demonstrate strong classroom management skills
- Be passionate about teaching and dedicated to pupil progress and well-being
- Possess excellent communication and organisational skills
- Have a positive, flexible, and proactive approach to teaching
Requirements:
- QTS qualification
- Recent, relevant teaching experience in KS2
- Level 1 safeguarding certificate
- Recent school-based references
- Valid Photo ID (Driving Licence or Passport)
- Enhanced DBS registered on the update service (or willing to apply for one)
