Job Title: Family Support Worker (Long-Term Temp)

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Family Support Worker to support a school in Willenhall, working with students aged 5-16. Starting 24th February, this long-term temporary role will focus on providing vital support to students and their families, helping to overcome barriers to learning and promoting well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Family Support: Assist families in accessing resources and services to support student success.
- Student Welfare: Support emotional, social, and behavioural development, helping students thrive.
- Collaboration: Work with teachers and external agencies to provide tailored support.
- Progress Monitoring: Track and review the progress of students and families, ensuring effective interventions.
- Safeguarding: Follow safeguarding procedures to ensure student welfare.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Experience working with families and young people, ideally in an educational or social care setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathy and a patient approach to supporting students and families.
- Knowledge of safeguarding policies and a commitment to child welfare.
