Are you an experienced Primary Teacher passionate about guiding young learners through a critical stage of their education? A welcoming primary school in Birmingham is seeking a talented and committed teacher to take on a temporary Year 2 class starting asap and continuing until the end of the academic year.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Year 2 curriculum, ensuring all pupils make excellent progress.
- Prepare students for Key Stage 1 SATs, supporting their confidence and ability to meet key milestones.
- Create a positive classroom atmosphere that fosters creativity, curiosity, and enthusiasm for learning.
- Manage behaviour effectively in accordance with the school’s policies, ensuring a safe and respectful environment.
- Work collaboratively with other staff members to share best practices and support the wider school community.
- Build strong relationships with parents to communicate progress and involve them in their child’s learning journey.
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Key Stage 1, particularly Year 2, with a good understanding of the curriculum and SATs preparation.
- A positive, enthusiastic attitude and the ability to inspire young minds.
- Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment.
