  • Work collaboratively with the SENCO, teachers, and healthcare professionals to implement effective strategies for managing the child’s condition in school.

  • Be flexible and proactive, able to adapt to the changing needs of the child.
  • Have knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures, ensuring the child’s safety and well-being at all times.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a school or SEN setting, ideally supporting children with complex medical or behavioural needs.
  • An understanding of restrictive food intake disorder (training can be provided).
  • A valid DBS on the update service or the willingness to undergo a new enhanced DBS check.
  • Level 1 Safeguarding certification (or willingness to obtain).

Why Join Us?

  • An opportunity to make a significant difference in a child’s life through targeted and compassionate support.
  • Work in a supportive school environment with experienced staff and access to ongoing professional development.
