SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Lichfield
Duration: Full-time, ongoing
Salary: £80 – £100 per day
The School/role:
We are working with an Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ Pupil Referral Unit based in Lichfield that is seeking a passionate and resilient teaching assistant to join their team.
The candidate for this role will be experienced in supporting children alongside children with various academic attainment levels. It is essential students‘ have an SEN Teaching Assistant to act as a positive role model and have good academic knowledge to provide lesson support.
This will require patience, commitment, and the ability to provide a safe and welcoming learning environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience supporting students with SEMH and behavior needs.

Requirements:
· Qualified Teaching Assistant OR Relevant SEN Background
· PECS and Makaton training/experience
· ASD, SEMH, Non-verbal, PMLD, MLD, visual impairment needs experience
· Level 1 safeguarding certificate
· Recent school-based references
· Valid Photo ID – Driving Licence or passport
· Full DBS – on the update service
