The Role: As a Secondary Geography Teacher in Birmingham, you will:
- Deliver engaging and interactive geography lessons to students from Key Stages 3 to 5.
- Create lesson plans that bring geographic concepts to life, fostering curiosity and critical thinking.
- Use a variety of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles and needs.
- Assess and track student progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their best.
- Inspire students to appreciate the importance of geography in understanding global issues as an impactful Secondary Geography Teacher.
- This a full- time temporary position that will become permanent for the right candidate.
We’re Looking for Someone Who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a strong background in geography.
- Is passionate about teaching geography and dedicated to student success.
- Has excellent communication skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
- Is creative in designing lessons that are both educational and engaging as a Secondary Geography Teacher.
- Works collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the geography curriculum and promote environmental awareness.
