Job Advertisement: Year 3 Teacher

Role:

Become a pivotal part of children’s education as a Year 3 Teacher, where you will lead engaging lessons tailored to lower Key Stage 2 students. Your focus will be on nurturing foundational skills in literacy, numeracy, and broader subject areas, fostering an environment that promotes collaboration, critical thinking, and independent learning.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver creative and differentiated lessons aligned with the KS2 curriculum, ensuring continuity and progression from Year 2.
  • Utilize effective teaching strategies to support the development of literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing tailored support and feedback to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages collaboration, critical thinking, and independent learning.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to support the holistic development of students.

 

Required Qualifications/Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, preferably in Year 3, is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of effective teaching methods and approaches for KS2.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and staying updated with educational best practices.
