Hours: Full-time, 8:30 – 4:30pm

Salary: Negotiable depending on Experience, M1-M5 Bands

 

Job description

We are working with an Ofsted rated ‘Good’ Primary School in Moseley who are looking for a Lower KS2 Teacher to join their fantastic team of education staff. The school are looking for a passionate and dedicated KS2 teacher to take on an amazing opportunity available. Early Career Teacher’s (ECT’s) are welcome to apply.

Requirements:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or have recent experience of teaching in a Primary setting.
  • Available 8.30PM-4.30PM Mon-Fri
  • Must have strong subject knowledge
  • Support students and manage behaviour effectively
  • Experience working with mildly SEN students

The school are looking for a member of staff holding Qualified Teacher Status to work in a Year 3 class. The ideal candidate for this role will have knowledge and/or experience working alongside the KS2 National Curriculum. This role will also require the teaching of Systematic Synthetic phonics, so prior knowledge, training and experience would be highly desired for the position.

 

Duties:

  • To liaise and communicate with colleagues to ensure that lessons are appropriately planned and delivered.
  • Plan and deliver lessons to meet the needs of all pupils through differentiation.
  • Plan for and communicate effectively with teaching assistants.
  • Feedback effectively and in a timely fashion to class teachers.
  • To maintain the highest standards of behaviour within a class and around the school.
  • Participate in staff and team meetings and on-going professional development opportunities.
  • Participate in the performance management system for their own appraisal.
