Teaching Assistant – Lichfield
Location: Lichfield
Duration: Full time, ongoing
Salary: £80- £95 per day
The School/role:
A dedicated and welcoming Primary school in Lichfield are looking for a talented 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join their team of friendly staff. With of Ofsted “Good” rating the school pride themselves in the holistic support of all pupils within their care, including the social and emotional wellbeing of all their students. The school are in need of an SEN experienced Teaching Assistant to work on a one-to-one basis with a child in Lower KS2. The ideal candidate for this role will have experience supporting students 1:1 or within small groups with their reading, writing, phonics, maths and behaviour dependent upon situation.

The candidate for this role will be experienced supporting SEN children alongside children with a range of different academic attainment levels. This will require patience, commitment and the ability to provide a safe and welcoming learning environment.

Requirements:
- Qualified Teaching Assistant OR Relevant SEN Background
- MLD, Autism, ADHD, SEMH or other SEN experience/understanding
- Relevant references
- Valid Photo ID – Driving Licence or passport
- Enhanced DBS – on the update service
