Teaching Assistant

  • Position – SEN Teaching Assistant
  • Full-time, 8:30am to 3:30pm daily

Do you have the right qualifications to provide SEN support to Primary students?  Are you seeking to complete your SEN qualification and need placement in a Primary school?

Balfor Education are currently recruiting for a hard-working, confident Teaching Assistant to work across Key stage 1 and 2, This is a great opportunity for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant, the role is full-time, to start ASAP, and will potentially continue for one full academic year.

This role will involve:

  • Planning SEN resources and activities that meet child’s IEP targets.
  • Carrying out Reading & Writing assessments and recording information
  • Assisting in the daily routines for the child
  • To work with a named child, as directed by the class teacher and/or SENCo, to support subjects and learning across the whole curriculum
  • Working with child on range of learning and play activities, indoors and outdoors
  • Liaising with parents

To be eligible for this role you must:

– Hold Right to Work in the UK
– Hold an Enhanced DBS certificate (can be obtained during registration)
– Provide two professional references covering the past 2 years
