Teaching Assistant
- Location – Birmingham, Erdington
- Start date – ASAP
- Position – SEN Teaching Assistant
- Hours: Full-time, 8:30am to 3:30pm daily
- Salary – £70-£90
Are you a proactive SEN Primary School Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children with SEN needs? Are you looking to further your career within SEN in a Primary School?
Balfor Education are currently recruiting for hard-working, confident Teaching Assistants to work in KS1, in a welcoming and friendly primary school in the Birmingham area. A great opportunity for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant, the roles are flexible, part-time, full-time, to start ASAP, and will potentially continue for one full academic year.
This role will involve:
- Planning SEN resources and activities that meet child’s IEP targets.
- Perform Personal Care
- Support children with autism and complex learning difficulties
- Supporting Non-verbal EYFS students
- Carrying out tailored assessments and recording results
- Assisting in the daily routines for the child
- Working with child on range of learning and play activities, indoors and outdoors.
- Liaising with parents
To be eligible for this role you must:
– Hold Right to Work in the UK
– Hold an Enhanced DBS certificate (can be obtained during registration)
– Provide two professional references covering the past 2 years
