Are you passionate about supporting individuals in need? Balfor Recruitment is looking for dedicated and experienced Support Workers to join our team in Nuneaton, helping those in homeless services to rebuild their lives. This role offers a variety of flexible shifts designed to give you the perfect work-life balance, with opportunities to turn your role into a permanent position!
Shift Patterns:
- 7:45 AM – 8:15 PM
- 7:45 AM – 1:15 PM
- 1:15 PM – 8:15 PM
- 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM (Sleep-in shift)

Your Role:
As a Support Worker, you’ll play a crucial role in providing care and support to individuals facing homelessness. Your daily duties will include:
- Answering calls in a professional and empathetic manner to provide guidance and support.
- Administering medication and maintaining accurate logbook records.
- Conducting regular wellbeing checks and providing practical support to service users.
- Monitoring security systems to ensure the safety of the service users and the facility.
- Performing domestic duties to maintain a clean and supportive environment for those in your care.
What We’re Looking For:
We want to hear from you if you have:
- 6+ months of experience in the health and social care sector.
- 6+ months supporting homeless individuals, ideally with drug & alcohol misuse experience.
- A strong understanding of mental health challenges and how to offer support.
- A passion for empowering individuals to take the next steps in their lives.
- DBS clearance (or willingness to apply).
- Access to a full UK driver’s license (preferred).
