Flexible Shifts | Temp to Perm | £12.86 per hour

Are you an experienced Support Worker with a passion for helping others? Balfor Recruitment is currently looking for dedicated individuals to join our team and support vulnerable people in the homeless sector around the Wolverhampton area. We offer flexible shifts that work around your availability, providing you with the ideal work-life balance.

Shift Patterns:

  • 8:00 AM – 8:15 PM
  • 8:00 PM – 8:15 AM (Sleep-in shift)

What You’ll Be Doing:

As a Support Worker, your primary responsibility will be to provide day-to-day support to individuals in need. Your key duties will include:

  • Supporting clients throughout the day and night with dignity and respect.
  • Keeping accurate records in logbooks to ensure effective care.
  • Conducting wellbeing checks to ensure clients’ health and safety.
  • Performing basic domestic duties to maintain a clean and comfortable environment.
  • Answering calls in a professional manner and providing guidance to clients.
  • Having a solid understanding of the homeless sector and the challenges faced by those experiencing homelessness.

What We’re Looking For:

We’re seeking candidates who:

  • Have 6+ months of experience in the homeless sector and mental health support.
  • Hold a DBS on the update service or are willing to apply for one.
  • Are reliable, committed, and have a passion for supporting others.
  • Are flexible and available for adhoc shifts as required.
