The Role

As a Senior Secondary Recruitment Consultant at Balfor Recruitment, you will report to our Divisional Manager. Your role will be to source suitable candidates and place them into suitable roles within Secondary schools.

The role will attract a candidate who has proven success in building relationships with schools in a similar sector or sales role. You will have worked in thriving desk that has generated a lot of success in the Secondary Sector

The role will include:

  • Working closely with your dedicated resourcer to support with pipeline of candidates.
  • Working a highly successful geographical area (flexible)
  • Creating new business opportunities and using out of the box techniques
  • Contacting clients on a regular basis via telephone as well as attending face to face client meetings
  • Building your business to 200 days a week
  • Identifying prospective teaching and non-teaching candidates for your clients
  • Conducting detailed candidate interviews either in person or via video phone
  • Providing an amazing, memorable, stress-free, and informative experience for all candidates during their interview process
  • Using social media platforms such as LinkedIn, Job boards and other data sources to attract and source the best talent and build brand awareness

About You

Recruitment is a faced paced, sales environment and you will need:

  • To have drive and ambition with the desire to succeed
  • Ideally to have a minimum of 2 years of recruitment experience at senior level.
  • Great subject knowledge of the Secondary school sector
  • A proven track record of achieving KPI’s
  • To have a personal and proactive approach
  • The ability and confidence to speak, meet and influence key decision makers
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
