SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Liverpool (L1)
Pay: £80–£95 per day
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am–4:00pm
We are looking for a compassionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to support a primary or secondary pupil with Special Educational Needs (SEN). You’ll work closely with the class teacher and SENCo to help the pupil thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Your Role:
- Provide tailored one-to-one support for a pupil with SEN.
- Assist with the implementation of the pupil’s Education, Health, and Care Plan (EHCP).
- Adapt lessons and activities to suit individual needs.
- Encourage the development of social skills, confidence, and independence.
- Help manage behaviour in line with the school’s policies.
What We’re Looking For:
- Recent experience (within 2 years) supporting children with SEN.
- Familiarity with EHCPs and SEN needs.
- Personal care experience.
- DBS registered on the update service.
- Strong communication, teamwork, patience, and empathy.
