SEN Teacher – Mainstream Primary School
Location: Yardley
Duration: Full time, on going
Salary: £150 – £220 per day
The School/role:
I am working with a fantastic, welcoming mainstream school that are recruiting for a dedicated and nurturing SEN Teacher to join their team. This school in Yardley strives to provide the best quality teaching and learning with an inclusive and personalised curriculum for their SEN children. This is a full-time post and will run until the end of the academic year located in their special provision resource base at the school.

The ideal candidate for this role will have experience supporting SEN children alongside and teaching experience. It is essential that these students have a SEN Teacher to act as a positive role model, as well as having solid academic knowledge to support their learning and development. This will require patience, commitment and the ability to provide a safe and welcoming learning environment.
The children within the SEN provision have a range of needs including, but not limited to, ASD, ADHD, autism, learning difficulties and behavioural difficulties. You will be working with a range of experienced and professional staff, who are incredibly supportive and passionate.

Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status or other Education Qualification
- PECS and Makaton training/experience ideal
- SEN experience
- Level 1 safeguarding certificate
- Recent school based references
- Valid Photo ID – Driving Licence or passport
- Full DBS – on the update service
