Salary: £160 – £180 per day

We are excited to be working with a highly respected school in Leicester that is seeking a committed and passionate SEN Teacher to join their team full-time. This inclusive school is dedicated to providing personalised education for students with moderate learning difficulties and additional needs. Key Responsibilities:
- Personalised Learning Support: Deliver tailored instruction to students, providing 1:1 support and small group interventions to address diverse learning challenges.
- Lesson Adaptation: Work collaboratively with teaching staff to modify and adapt lessons, making learning accessible and engaging for all students.
- Positive Behaviour Management: Promote and implement effective behaviour management strategies, maintaining a calm and supportive classroom environment.
- IEP Implementation: Collaborate with the SENCO and fellow educators to develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs), ensuring the unique needs of each student are met.
- Effective Communication: Liaise with teachers, parents, and external professionals to provide regular updates on student progress and ensure a consistent approach to support.

Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children or young people in an educational setting, particularly with special educational needs.
- Strong understanding of strategies and approaches to support students with diverse learning needs.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
- A collaborative, team-oriented attitude with a flexible and proactive approach.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
