The Role: As a Secondary School LSA in Dorridge, you will:

  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with special educational needs, helping them to engage with the curriculum and achieve their goals.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) to meet the specific needs of students.
  • Work closely with teachers to adapt lessons and resources to ensure all students can access the curriculum.
  • Monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to help them overcome barriers to learning.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant.
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs in a secondary school setting.
  • A patient, compassionate, and supportive approach, with a genuine desire to help students succeed.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • The ability to adapt to the needs of different students, creating a supportive and engaging learning environment.
  • A commitment to professional development and a passion for education as a Secondary School LSA.
