Salary: £160-230 a day

The School/role:

We are recruiting a qualified Science Teacher for an Ofsted rated ‘Good’ school in Wolverhampton that accommodates for students aged 9 to 16 years with social, emotional and mental health difficulties. The ideal candidate will have experience as a Science Teacher and will hold QTS with Science specialism. In addition, they will be confident in managing challenging behaviour and supporting a range of social, emotional and mental health needs.

Responsibilities:

As a Science Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a positive and engaging learning experience. Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering tailored Science lessons to accommodate diverse learning needs.
• Creating a supportive classroom environment that nurtures social and emotional well-being.
• Assessing student progress and implementing effective intervention strategies when required.
• Collaborating with colleagues to contribute to the ongoing development of the science curriculum.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant Science teaching qualifications.
• Strong commitment to inclusive and supportive teaching methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Requirements:

· Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.

· Proven experience in planning and delivering effective lessons.

· Immediate availability to start the position.

· Level 1 safeguarding certificate.

· Previous experience as a class teacher.

· Recent, verifiable school-based references.

· Valid Photo ID (e.g., Driving License or Passport).

· A comprehensive DBS check, registered on the update service.
