Our service is a purpose-built, 4-bed children’s residential home with a supportive, warm, and energetic atmosphere. Recently rated Outstanding by Ofsted, our team is dedicated to providing high-quality care and personalized support to each of our residents.

Role Overview

As a Children’s Residential Support Worker, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting and encouraging young people (ages 8 – 18) in all areas of their lives, including social, educational, and emotional development.
  • Assisting residents in managing daily routines and achieving personal goals, fostering a sense of independence.
  • Developing meaningful relationships to help build resilience and self-confidence.
  • Working closely with families, healthcare professionals, and educational staff to ensure a consistent approach to each child’s care.
  • Maintaining a safe, nurturing, and structured environment that promotes positive behavior.

Requirements

  • Experience: Previous experience in a residential care or similar setting, ideally with children with Learning disabilities and EBD.
  • Skills: Strong communication, empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting young people.
  • Qualifications: A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) is desirable, but not essential.
  • Background Checks: Enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references are required.
