Primary Teacher – Coventry

Job Description:
We are currently working with a welcoming and enthusiastic Primary School in Coventry, seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary Teacher to join their team. The school is looking for a committed educator who can inspire students and contribute positively to their academic and personal development. Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are encouraged to apply.

Requirements:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or have recent experience teaching in a Primary setting.
  • Available from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday.
  • Strong subject knowledge and ability to deliver engaging lessons.
  • Ability to support students and manage behaviour effectively.
  • Experience working with students with mild SEN is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure lessons are effectively planned and delivered.
  • Plan and deliver lessons that cater to the diverse needs of pupils, ensuring differentiation is applied.
  • Communicate effectively with teaching assistants and support staff.
  • Provide constructive and timely feedback to pupils and colleagues.
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour in the classroom and across the school.
  • Participate in staff and team meetings, as well as professional development opportunities.
  • Engage in the performance management process for professional growth.

The school is seeking a dynamic and adaptable teacher who is well-versed in the Primary Curriculum. Experience with Systematic Synthetic Phonics is beneficial but not essential, and training can be provided if required.
