Role Overview: As an experienced Primary Education Recruitment Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in our team, connecting talented primary school teachers, teaching assistants, and support staff with fulfilling opportunities in schools across Birmingham. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with schools, understanding their staffing needs, and providing tailored recruitment solutions.
  • Sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates to assess their suitability for various roles.
  • Matching candidates with suitable positions based on their skills, experience, and preferences.
  • Providing ongoing support and guidance to candidates throughout the recruitment process, from application to placement.
  • Keeping abreast of market trends, education policies, and changes in legislation to inform recruitment strategies and maintain compliance.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a recruitment consultant, specifically within the primary education sector.
  • Proven track record of success in candidate sourcing, selection, and placement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with candidates and clients.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of relevant education policies, procedures, and regulations.
