Primary PPA Teacher Position Available
Location: Shard End Birmingham
Duration: Full-time ongoing until December
Salary: £150 – £215 per day (depending on experience)
The School/Role:
Join a “Good” Ofsted-rated primary school in Shard End, Birmingham, seeking a dedicated PPA cover teacher for both KS1 and KS2 classes on a full-time basis. We are looking for an experienced individual with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Responsibilities:
- Manage PPA cover across KS1 and KS2 classes
- Support learning and follow lesson plans to ensure smooth transitions
- Uphold a calm, friendly, and safe learning environment for all students, including those with SEN
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience in lesson planning and delivery
- Availability to start immediately
- Level 1 safeguarding certificate
- Previous experience as a class teacher in both KS1 and KS2
- Recent school-based references
- Valid Photo ID (Driving Licence or Passport)
- Full DBS – registered on the update service
