An amazing community special school in Stechford is seeking a full-time PMLD teaching assistant. The role involves working with students aged 2 to 19 who have cognition and learning difficulties, physical disabilities, and complex health needs. The school provides a secure environment that recognises and caters to each child’s individual needs.

- PECS and Makaton training or experience are suitable for the teaching assistant role but not necessary.
- This is a full-time post and will run until the end of the academic year.
- The school requires someone committed to the teaching assistant role for consistency for the children.

Requirements:
- Qualified Teaching Assistant OR Relevant SEN Background
- PMLD, SLD and Complex needs experience
- Level 1 safeguarding certificate
- Recent school based references
- Valid Photo ID – Driving Licence or passport
- Full DBS – on the update service
