- Position – SEN Teaching Assistant
- Full-time, 8:30am to 3:30pm daily
Are you looking for SEN experience in a Primary School? Do you have the right qualifications to provide SEN support to a Year 6, Primary school child? Are you seeking to complete your SEN qualification and need placement in a Primary school?
Balfor Education are currently recruiting for a hard-working, confident Teaching Assistant to work in Key Stage 2, with a Year 6 child at a welcoming and friendly primary school in Birmingham. This is a great opportunity for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant, the role is full-time, to start ASAP, and will potentially continue for one full academic year.
This role will involve:
- Planning SEN resources and activities that meet child’s IEP targets.
- Carrying out Reading & Writing assessments and recording information
- Assisting in the daily routines for the child
- To work with a named child, as directed by the class teacher and/or SENCo, to support subjects and learning across the whole curriculum
- Working with child on range of learning and play activities, indoors and outdoors
- Liaising with parents
