Level 3 Primary Teaching Assistant (Lichfield)
Location: Oldbury
Position: Temporary ongoing
Salary: £85 – £100 per day
About the Role:
A welcoming and vibrant primary school in Oldbury is currently seeking a dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their team.This is a fantastic opportunity to support young learners in a positive and engaging classroom environment.
As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll work closely with teachers to support pupils across a range of subjects and activities, helping to create a fun, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide general classroom support to teachers and pupils
- Work with small groups or individual pupils to reinforce learning
- Assist in preparing resources and learning materials for lessons
- Support classroom displays and help maintain a positive learning space
- Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
- Encourage pupil participation and engagement in all classroom activities
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
- Have previous experience working in a primary school setting
- Be flexible, enthusiastic, and proactive in their approach
- Demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Be nurturing, patient, and supportive of pupils’ individual needs
- Hold a Level 1 safeguarding certificate
Requirements:
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
- Recent school-based references
- Level 1 safeguarding certificate
- Valid photo ID (Driving Licence or Passport)
- Full enhanced DBS (registered on the update service or willing to apply for one)
