Job Title: Lunchtime Supervisors

Location: Aston, Birmingham
Duration: Full-time or Part-time (Flexible)

About the Role:

We are partnering with a variety of outstanding primary, secondary, and special provision schools in and around Aston. These schools are seeking dedicated Lunchtime Supervisors to ensure a safe and enjoyable dining experience for students during lunchtime.

As a Lunchtime Supervisor, you will play a vital role in supporting the wellbeing of pupils and promoting positive behaviour during mealtimes. Whether you’re looking for full-time work or flexible part-time opportunities a few days a week, we have options to suit your needs.

Requirements:

  • Recent or relevant experience working with children and young people in a primary setting within the UK.
  • Availability during term time, Monday to Friday.
  • Strong environment and behaviour management skills.
  • Skills and experience suited to working with children.

 

Ideal Qualifications/Training:

  • Level 2 or 3 in Teaching and Learning in Schools.
  • Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care.
  • Level 2 or 3 in Childcare and Education.
  • Early Years Education / Early Years Practitioner Qualification.
  • CPD such as Safeguarding, Prevent, Health and Safety and First Aid are highly desirable for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to school policies and procedures.
  • Ensure the safeguarding of all pupils during lunchtime.
  • Promote positive behaviour and social interaction among students.
  • Assist children with their meals, ensuring a pleasant dining experience.
  • Collaborate closely with school staff to support a safe and healthy environment.
  • Maintain regular communication with the school and your consultant.
