Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to students with special educational needs, fostering their emotional and academic development.
  • Build positive relationships with students to create a safe and inclusive learning atmosphere.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, therapists, and parents to monitor student progress and share insights.
  • Engage with students in both group settings and one-to-one support.

Skills Needed:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect effectively with students.
  • Understanding of special educational needs and strategies to support diverse learners.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting young learners.

Qualifications/Experience Required:

  • Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools or equivalent.
  • Previous experience working with children in an SEN setting is highly desirable.
