Position Overview: We are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring that students with diverse learning needs receive the individualized support they require to thrive academically and personally.
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one support to students with a range of learning difficulties and disabilities, both in and out of the classroom.
- Work closely with teaching staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior management strategies tailored to each student’s specific needs.
- Collaborate with teachers and other educational professionals to create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with individuals with special educational needs or disabilities is highly desirable.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting the learning and development of all students.
