Learning Support Assistant

Location: Erdington
Duration: Full-Time, Ongoing
Salary: £95 – £105 per day

The School/Role

We are seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join our inclusive and dynamic school community in Erdington. This full-time role involves providing support to students with diverse learning needs, ensuring they have access to an inclusive and enriching educational experience.

Key Duties

  • Individualised Support: Provide tailored support to students with diverse learning needs, including 1:1 assistance and small group interventions.
  • Classroom Assistance: Assist teachers in delivering lessons, adapting materials, and implementing strategies to support student learning.
  • Behaviour Support: Support positive behaviour management strategies, fostering a safe and respectful learning environment.
  • Personalised Learning: Work collaboratively with teachers and SENCO to implement individualised education plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress.
  • Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with teachers, parents, and external professionals regarding student progress and support needs.
