Join Our Team as a Temporary KS2 Teacher!
Are you an experienced educator with a passion for inspiring young minds? Balfor Education is currently seeking a dedicated and dynamic KS2 Teacher to join our team in Small Heath, Birmingham, on a temporary basis until the end of the academic year. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of primary school students and contribute to their educational journey.
Role Overview:
As a Temporary KS2 Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to the Key Stage 2 curriculum, fostering a positive learning environment, and supporting the academic and personal development of your students. You will have the opportunity to work with a range of different education levels, including some students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Your creativity, dedication, and ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners will be instrumental in helping students achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
– Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
– Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
– Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to support their learning journey.
– Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure the holistic development of students.
– Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and achievement.
Requirements:
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant teaching experience in KS2.
– Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
– Experience working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is desirable.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best.
– Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the school environment.
